BORDER COLLIE PUPPIES South Florida AKC Breeder
We are a small family breeder of Border Collies in sunny South Florida. Our foundation female, Arya, is what started it all. She is sharp, patient, affectionate, agile, and an incredible mother. She had her first litter December 2021 with Psychic, an agility champion with a beautiful Merle coat. Together they had 8 beautiful puppies. The next generation will be ready to continue the breeding program in 2024, including her daughter Brie and son Mindreader who are each living with their parents. Brie with Arya in South Florida and Reader with Psychic in North Carolina. Stay tuned for upcoming breedings in the years to come.

ABOUT THE BREEDER
A Passion for Healthy & Balanced Dogs
My first dog was from a pet store, a Golden Retriever named Goldie who died at 3 years old from what vets declared a genetic disorder. I was 9 years old and Goldie was best friend. Distraught, I took to researching how this could happen and learned about genetics and good dog breeders.
My next dog, Vodka was from a breeder who I thoroughly researched, talked to, and at 10 years old made my family travel to visit. I was awed by her program and ever since then wanted to be a breeder. Vodka lived a long life, had an incredible temperament, and was everything you’d ever want from a family dog. She taught me the importance of a well bred dog from a reputable breeder. I strive to provide that same comfort to all future puppy owners.
Arya’s Border Collies was born from a desire to provide future puppy parents the peace of mind of bringing a healthy, balanced, and loved dog into their home.
ARYA & PSYCHIC'S FIRST LITTER
Arya and Psychic had 8 Border Collie puppies December 29, 2021. The coined, Winter is Here litter following the Game of Thrones theme included 3 males and 5 females. Both rough and smooth coat and 2 of each color pattern. Snow was the first born and kept his name, a smooth coated blue merle. Robb, later named Mindreader ended up being the biggest of the pack at fully grown. He lives with his dad Psychic in North Carolina and competes in agility. Third was Brie, Brienne of Tarth a rough coated red merle, who stayed with Arya and never left home. She will hopefully be a part of our breeding program in the future. Salem is a rough coated red merle with one green and one blue eye, she also competes in agility in North Carolina just like our fifth puppy, Khaleesi who is now Esso. She is a stunning rough coated blue merle with blue and brown marble eyes. The last two pups were Khal and Cersei. Both black and white, but Khal, who kept his name, was the copy paste of Arya, smooth coated and same exact markings. He lives in Ft. Myers and is curiously not into the pool. Cersei or now Quest is rough coated and trained in herding. She joined a Border Collie pack and lives out in a farm.

HOW WE RAISE OUR PUPPIES
You can follow our whole journey in our instagram @aryasbordercollies. The first 8 weeks of a puppies’ life is crucial to their development. Prior to their eyes and ears opening, we provide daily neurological exercises that stimulate their smell and touch. This helps their brains create greater connections, providing a solid base for their development. Once they begin to walk we start potty training them on wee wee pads and then later to litter boxes/grass. We also provide different textures, unstable objects, and rotate obstacles and toys to further help their development. Their last weeks they begin to wean off their mother’s milk and are introduced to raw and kibble, this allows their bodies to get all the nutrients they need while also helping their teeth and bones grow strong. The pups are exposed to noises such as lighting, fireworks, and loud appliances. They interact with children and cats and are given all of their vaccines prior to going home at 8 weeks. We follow the Good Dog breeding format very closely and are part of various breeding groups that provide a wonderful community support.
